The VentiSeal„ is an endotracheal tube designed by Flexicare Medical. It features a thin, ultra-smooth, high volume low pressure cuff that effectively conforms to the tracheal wall, providing an efficient, low-pressure seal. This tube is available in various shapes and sizes to accommodate different airway needs.

Key features of the VentiSeal„ include:

• A soft, rounded distal tip with a bevelled design to reduce the risk of soft tissue trauma during insertion, while minimally increasing flow resistance.
• A large Murphy™s Eye to allow for a larger flow of gas in case the tip becomes occluded.
• Circumferential vocal cord markers with double guide lines visible from all angles, aiding in the safe and accurate placement of the cuff below the vocal cords.
• Distance markings to provide an early indication of depth during insertion and to check for any possible movement or dislocation of the ET tube during the procedure.
• Kink resistance to maintain tube patency for patient safety, while softening at body temperature to conform to the patient™s respiratory tract.
