The Mapleson D and Deluxe Bain coaxial breathing systems are used in anesthesia to deliver oxygen and anesthetic agents while eliminating carbon dioxide. These systems consist of components such as fresh gas flow, a reservoir bag, breathing tubes, an expiratory valve, and a patient connection. The Bain circuit is a coaxial modification of the Mapleson D system, where the fresh gas flow tubing is directed within the inspiratory limb, near the mask. This design adds more heat and humidity to inhaled gases compared to other Mapleson circuits.

• Mapleson D Bain Coaxial Breathing System: This system is for use with Bain adaptors and does not include a valve or bag, with a minimum length of 1.6 meters.
• Mapleson D Deluxe Bain Coaxial Breathing System with 2L Bag: Available in two lengths, 1.6 meters and 2.8 meters, this system includes a 2-liter bag.
• 22mm Silver Knight Anti-microbial Mapleson D Deluxe Bain Coaxial Breathing System with 2L Bag: This version is 1.6 meters long and features an anti-microbial additive to enhance patient safety.
• Mapleson D Deluxe Bain Coaxial Breathing System with 2L Bag, 5.4m: This longer version is designed for greater reach and flexibility in patient care.
