About NITROUS OXIDE CIRCUITS

Nitrous oxide circuits are designed for the inhalation of a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide, providing safe and effective pain relief during emergency care, childbirth, and short, potentially painful procedures. These circuits ensure accurate supply of the gas mixtures and incorporate demand valves that regulate the patient™s inspiration pattern, allowing gases to be controlled and preventing them from being lost to the environment. This reduces costs and minimizes staff exposure to the gases.

Flexicare offers several types of nitrous oxide circuits, including:

• Nitrous Oxide Circuit with Mouthpiece: Features a low resistance corrugated tube with a 22mm F connector, one-way valve, and mouthpiece.
• Nitrous Oxide Circuit with Mask: Includes a low resistance 22mm corrugated tube with a 22mm F connector, one-way valve, and face mask.
• Nitrous Oxide Circuit with Mouthpiece and Mask: Combines a low resistance 22mm corrugated tube with a 22mm F connector, one-way valve, mouthpiece, and face mask.
• Nitrous Oxide Circuit with Detachable Scavenging Tube: Features a low resistance corrugated tube with a 22mm F connector, one-way valve, and a detachable scavenging tube with connector.
• Oxygen/Nitrous Oxide Circuit with ThermoShield Bacterial Viral HME Filter: Provides a mouthpiece with an integrated bacterial viral filter for enhanced safety.

These circuits are designed to be crush-resistant and lightweight, maintaining flow even when twisted through 180. They are available for use with a mouthpiece or mask, offering patient choice. The T-Piece incorporates two non-return valves for gas delivery on demand and to prevent rebreathing of exhaled gases.
